Great, sounds like it would work.  My plants would get several hours of sun and high shade.  Thank you.

   I have one of the variegated Euonymous fortunei  at the northeast 
corner of a property that I own.  I would say that is only gets about 
1 hr of sun and the rest is bright shade.  It seems to do OK, but 
doesn't increase much in size.  However, this might be more because 
of cooler temps than light.
