To all of you that was kind enought to answer my question about the Cypress Tree:
REST EASY
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this tree, it's healthy, has good form, and beautiful. You have to understand, my husband thinks everything should be pruned, or topped, or generally whacked on.
He said, it might make the tree grow fuller.
I'm happy to let things grow at will, where he likes things more uniform. comes from having been in the military, I guess.
Needless to say, there will not be any wacking on this tree. My husbands brother gave the tree to us several years ago and I love it. sure wouldn't want anything to happen to it.
So, rest easy, the tree is safe from my husband and his handy saw.
