Is anyone else growing Sinocalycanthus sinensis? My first plant did quite well in my upper rear yard receiving 50-75% sun. There seemed to be some "burning" of the flowers and I remember hearing that it could take more shade. So I decided to move it to a somewhat shadier area and it promptly died! I think its demise was more from the move, so I've decided to try again. How much shade does this shrub like?
