Michael A. Dirr is the author of "Manual of Woody Landscape Plants", my
copy of which has been used so much  it's in 3 pieces.   Highly recommended
book if you are serious about growing woody plants!  Understand that he is
in the process of revising it but have no idea of projected publishing
date.  He also has a photographic manual of woody plants out there which I
covet.
