Acer pensylvanicum

Pretty quiet on woodyplants these days, so here's a question for you.
I have some small seedlings of what I believe is Acer pensylvanicum,
Striped-bark maple or moosewood. One of the few diagnostic features that I
can tell so far is that the leaf petioles are distinctly red.
Is anyone growing this and if so, do your plants show this characteristic?
