Re: Calycanthus


From what I've read of these new crosses (Calycanthus x Sinocalycanthus -
and then later Sinocalycanthus got folded back into Calycanthus), they are
fragrant, large-blossomed, and quick growing.  I'm really hoping for good
luck with these.

I don't know who decides what a fragrance is.  I have ordered roses that
supposedly have a strawberry fragrance and one that was reputed to smell of
raspberries.  But they just smell like roses to me.
