I had a discussion with our power company about my tree branches entwined
with the wires going to my neighbour's house. He said the company will
come and stop the electricity going to the house while the tree trimmers
do their work, and then hook it up again. This is a free service which I
believe started after a tree trimmer was killed. It has not been
advertised, but I guess all the tree trimming companies know about it.
