I have an old bush that was here when we moved here 12 years ago. It is
very large-wide. I have never pruned it except to clean up dead wood.
I'd be interested to hear what others say as I have read that this bush
should be pruned severly after blooming. Around here though the old
bushes are allowed to jsut grow as they will. (Zone 5)
