Crataegus 'Paul's Scarlet' and 'Crimson Cloud'

I have been interested in the hawthorns, Crataegus oxyacantha
(sometimes listed as C. laevigata) - in particular, the cultivars
'Paul's Scarlett' and 'Crimson Cloud'.
Information on the Net seems to suggest that "Paul's Scarlet' does
not do well, particularly because of fireblight.
Can anyone help me with comparisons and contrasts on these cultivars?
