I need some advice. Bald cypress knees are coming up in my path way. Would it kill the tree if I cut those knees off while small? I think it is one root going out in the path. If no one helps, I guess I will take a mattock to that root and see. Do not need anything to trip over in the paths. Now, the Magnolia I had to have when we moved here 40 years ago is making a colony. Enough is enough. Would it kill this tree if I take back some of the land it is expanding into by cutting off those suckers. Some are very tall but losing paths here too. A vole or something like it is living under the Magnolia. I see its run. Hate to put out poison since owls may try to help me out but I do not want the cyclamens eaten either. Thanks for any advice, Nancy Robinson Tennessee |
