dwarf chinquapin oak

** High Priority **

i was quite intrigued by a squib in american gardener about a nebraska
statewide arboretum program publicizing plants "that will stand up to
the rigors of gardening in the great plains." one of the plants they
recommend is quercus prinoides, a dwarf chinquapin oak, "a
12-foot-tall species native from Kanas to nebraska to new york."
anybody have any experience with or knowledge of? know a retail
source? i can't even find seeds ...
