Re: New Nursery Online-and Athrotaxis


I just looked through the Heronswood nursery online and am impressed. The
conifer section included many conifers that I did not expect to see. Anyone
looking for some really rare conifers should look here.
	One of which I have been looking for for awile. It is  Athrotaxis
laxifolia. Its hardiness is listed as Z. 6 but unfortunatly I live in
southern Z. 5 (north central Ohio). Has any one had any experience with
this conifer along the border of zone 5-6 ?
With some winter protection, maybe?
