If you mean the squirrel planted a peanut, you will find that the plant
will grow about 2 feet high. Soil is mounded up around the roots of the
plant. Full sun and adequate water should bring you to digging peanuts
in the fall. They need to be hung to dry with the foliage still
attached. After drying the nuts(lugumes) need to be pulled off and
taken in the house because the squirrel will be wanting his crop back.
