SEATTLE (MP*) -- Duncan McAlpine, a good friend of Mallorn Computing's and
plant enthusiast extraordinaire, announced yesterday the creation of
another mailing list dealing with the subject of roses.  

McAlpine, founder and list manager of the popular propagation and 
veggies lists, feels that there is a definite need for rose support.

The list will address all aspects of rose gardening, including discussion
of various species and hybrids, disease and insect control, soil mixes,
and propagation.
