I have a very well established plant, maybe 5

despite heavy
flowering the past 3 years, last year was the 1st
time I had berries.
The years before the berries formed but did not
mature. I have the
theory that there has to be be sufficiant water
for the berries to mature
and ripen. The 2 years before last were very
dry. Last year
was more moist.
Where are you located?
I also have a second plant in a partly shaded
woodland. This second
plant is much less vigorous and I am not aware
that it has ever flowered
or set fruit. My guess is that it needs more
light.
This may be true for mine as well. I will
probably move it next year. Thanks for your
response.
