I have been noticing the same results from a long cold winter with no
warm spells too. Every plant in Tennessee is doing its best. The
weigela has made every one ask what it is. The Deuztia is outstanding.
Earliest daylilies ever too. The liliums are wonderful. I am not sure
I really want that cold a winter with no warm periods to work out in the
garden but what an explosion of blooms, color and fragrances. The
catalpas are wonderful now here. I don't even like them but how can you
not like anything that colorful.
