That is the name I came up with from looking at the pictures on the University of Tennessee Herbarium site. Of course I have not checked to see how many stamens it really has. The hot weather has probably browned every thing on the plant. I have too much else to water just now and that plant does not require any extra moisture so it is on its own.

----- Original Message -----ï This is a test to see if the pictures will come through on this list. Also I would like to know the name of this plant. It is suppose to be a native to the south. Thanks, Nancy Robinson TennesseeHi Nancy, This looks a lot like Hypericum frondosum to me. What do you think? http://hort.net/gallery/view/hyp/hypfr/ http://wp.nres.uiuc.edu/plant/hypfrsu43 http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=HYFR Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with themessage text UNSUBSCRIBE WOODYPLANTS
