Do you get catalogs from Greer Gardens (PNW) or Arrowhead Alpines (MI)?
Both offer many dwarf woodies and both have Bonsai sections in their
catalogs.

I did try to post a response last night, but must be lost in cyber world.
So... trying again...
Looking for recommendations for my garden railroad. I would like some plant
material that would appear to look like trees in scale for it. So need
something with small leaves, max to 3ft with pruning, and a thicker trunk. I
have many generically called evergreens, but would like more that resemble a
tree from a neighborhood street, rather than a forest of pine trees so to
speak. Of course, if that isn't enough to request already, I would also like
it to be hardy to zone 5 too....
Thoughts anyone?
