The Tom Clothier seed list has sow 3 mos at 70, 3 mos at 39 move to 70 to germinate. Think you need to share them.

I don9t know if the propagation-list is still around, but perhaps some of the members of this list can give me some advice. After years of searching for plants of Sapphire berry, Symplocos paniculata, I finally located some seed on e-bay. The seeds came with the following germination instructions: Scarify: Soak 24 hoursStratify: Warm 90-120 days; then cold 60-90 days, 40F, in moist conditions.Sow 1/42 Keep warm and moist (not wet) I have no information from the seller at this time. The seller lives in Elko, NV, but I don9t know if the original plant came from there. I willtry to get additional information, but in the meantime, here9s my question:If the seeds were from this year9s crop, can I skip the warm stratification and stick them right in the frig to start the cold portion? Otherwise, I9mafraid that I9d end up with these things germinating next fall here in Wisconsin, which I can9t imagine would be a good thing. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
