Re[2]: Forsythia Project

I found how easily forsythia roots one year when I needed some sticks to
hold up my peas. I pruned the nearby forsythia and stuck them in beside
the peas - no special treatment, no rooting powder - and they started
growing. Why don't you just stick prunings in the bank - more than you
want, as they won't all grow.

That is so encouraging! I don't own a single forsythia, but I may be able to
put a notice in my neighborhood newsletter asking for prunings so that I can go
ahead with this project.
