Title: Paperbark maple seedlings Despite its reputation for poor germination of seeds, I find myself with a number of seedlings of Paperbark Maple, Acer griseum, up to 1 foot tall. This is a beautiful tree with wonderful exfoliating bark.
Since they are already leafed out, it is probably too late to consider transplanting them this year, but if anyone is interested, I'd be glad to send one to anyone willing to pay the postage (probably around $7 USPS Priority Mail) either this fall or next spring, probably late March of early April. Can't bring myself to relegate them to the compost pile quite yet!
