Title: Potentilla I’m considering planting Potentilla in a 3ft by 20 ft oval garden at the entrance to a condo complex. Because of the relative nearness to the roadway, I’m sure there will be some exposure to winter salt.
The common yellow variety seems to have been around for years, is common in the commercial trade and seems to perform relatively well. I was wondering if any of the varieties of other colors, such as those I’ve listed below would perform as well.
If anyone has any specific experience with any of these varieties, pro or con, I’d, appreciate hearing from you
ABBOTTSWOOD (WHITE),
FROSTY (WHITE),
GOLD DROP (GOLD),
GOLDFINGER (GOLD),
MANGO TANGO (RED & YELLOW),
MCKAY’S (WHITE),
PINK BEAUTY (PINK),
RED ACE (SCARLET-YELLOW)
Thanks for any guidance you can give.
