Re: Hello out there!

I'm just getting into Hydrangeas. When I bought this place (built by a
horticulturist in 1972) I inherited an enormous bed (15' X 25'....really!)
of 'Annabelle'. That was it for Hydrangeas. Something I thought was a
Hydrangea turned out to be a viburnum, another family I need to learn a lot
more about.

I've recently bought 'Nikko', a Pee Gee (is this short for paniculata
grandiflora?) and an incredible Pee Gee standard. I'm just now looking
into some of the more unusual ones. Lacecaps are high on my list, and I'm
open to suggestions. I've already ordered 'Blue Wave' . And I just got a
Hydrangea tandiva from the Botanical Gardens plant sale, which I know
nothing about. Can anyone elaborate?
