Xanthoceras and Sinojackia

Since the list has been a bit quiet lately (we're all out planting, I
suppose), I throw out a question:

Does anyone have any experience with Xanthoceras sorbifolia (Yellowhorn) or
Sinojackia japonica?

The first is supposed to be hardy to Z5, but I have been unable to
overwinter one successfully. Any cultural hints that might improve its
chances?

Regarding the Sinojackia, I guess it's hardiness range is yet to be
determined. Is anyone growing this species? Lacking any information, I'll
probably treat it much like its relative, Styrax.

Thanks for any help.
