Don, I have the most acid soil in the world I think and a lot of plants just refuse to live with me. BUT, I found Enkiathus at Walmart one year and bought several. The bees love it and so do I. I can't help on how to acidify your soil but it is worth doing just for the sound of the happy bees in the spring. I have a good picture of one of my shrubs-over 6 feet now if anyone want to see it.
