Re: Advice planting Franklinia?

About 5 hours...trees on both sides so filitered mostly. I read about poison drift killing the Franklinias after I had killed mine. I am careful about the drift but seems this tree is very sensitive.

My second try to grow Franklinia was a success...on sandy, acid and
damp
soil. It even bloomed for me...then I sprayed some bad weeds about
15
feet from my tree. Of course it died...not sure about the bad weeds.
Good luck with yours.

Well, that's promising. Terrible about the weedkiller, though!

How much sun did you give yours?

Thanks,
