Thanks (to all)for the information. Maybe you could recommend some rare or
unusual trees that could be grown in zone 5. I am very interested in
growing all types of trees, the more rare or unusual the better. I am
slowly expanding my collection, adding 2-3 each year. I have recently
become interested in trees from the southern hemisphere. But, I'm not
finding to many that are hardy in this area. Ideally I would like seedling,
but I am willing to grow from seed if neccesary. If you could recommend any
or tell me where I could find some it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I
have found some interesting species listed on the net but they usually do
not have any hardiness info. Is there anywhere I could look for a
comprehensive list of hardiness?
THanks for any guidance,
John
