Re: more invasive menaces (horsetails)

Interesting that you should mention the horsetail not growing so well around the
Jeruselum artichokes...My experience it that these aggressive tubers are
allopathic to many(not all) of its neighbors..Killed two of my Arborvitae/Thuja
shrubs before I understood what was happening..Hey,maybe thats a concept kill
off the horsetail with the tubers ;-)just kidding because trust me one is just
about as bad as the other..Its been 7 years since I first planted these tubers
and dug out 4-5yrs(and every year since)and still they linger, in hopes I will
not notice until they have aggressed on their next victims..
Seriously since they are part of the sunflower tribe (which is also in certain
stages allopathic )I strongly believe these to be 'killers'in disguise..There
must be some scientific data to be found to verify this ,anyone know?
