Re: Rhodies


 You don't necessarily have to cut off a whole branch.Today I checked some
branches that I had lopped in half during the summer.  They have sprouted
several groups of leaves each.  It might depend on the rhododendron.  This
one is Queen of Hearts, an old Rothschild hybrid, I think, which grows
long weak stems so that it is like a weeping tree.  I shortened a lot of
branches so it wouldn't droop all over its neighbours.
