More unknown plant identifications...

I've been making a dent in my box of unknown slides this past week, but
there are still some unknowns that are bugging me. Hopefully the experts
on this list will immediately recognize the one that I'm going to mention
today... I must have thought it worthwhile, because I sure took a lot
of photos of it.

Anyhow, I took these photos at the Harry P. Leu gardens in Orlando in
January, 1996. So it bloomed in January, has dark green, evergreen
leaves that appear elliptic to obovate with serrulate margins and
deeply impressed veins. The flowers petals are white and number five,
while the stamens are numerous and pale yellow.

That's about all that I can get from the photos. :)

Now after that exciting lead-in, here they are!

(10=leaves, 40=flowers)

They're not the best photos in the world, but I think that they show
the floral/foliage characteristics better than the other shots that
I have.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a common plant down South? I'm
just a poor Midwestern boy who ventured away from home for a while,
then lost his list of plant names before returning home...

Thanks,

Chris
