Variegated Holly

I would like to add variegated holly to my back garden to add interest
and to disguise a 6' fence.  Can anyone answer a couple of questions?

1. How hardy is it?  We typically get at least one cold snap of -35F
each winter.
2. How vigorous is it?  I don't have time to be out there pruning it
four or five times a summer!
3. Is there a Canadian Plant Sourcebook where one can find where to
purchase specific plants?  I have tried our local nursery, but they
don't have it in stock.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated; now is the time for
planting!
