Hello:
We have been having quite good results starting trees from seed in
the last several years.
This spring, amongst many others, I started some Picea wilsonii (Wilson's
Spruce) seeds from Chiltern's.
There was good germination, but the seedlings have not gone beyond the seed
leaf stage. All of our other seedlings, both evergreen and deciduous, have
shown quite good growth, and all are being treated in the
same way. The Picea wilsonii, have been just sitting in there pots slightly
chlorotic all summer. If anyone
has experience with the propagation and growth of this tree, could they
please tell me what I may be doing
wrong.
