03 February, 2002 gallery additions

I'm still going through my woody plant slides. As you can see, we're continuing with a lot of plants starting with 'K' or 'L'. Maybe next week we'll get into 'M'.

I'm also working hard to add new features to the site, but there have been a lot of other site issues lately that have taken up time. The most noticeable is that people are trying to download the entire image gallery to their computers for later perusal.

Please do not do that the amount of network traffic that is generated is tremendous, and it only ends up hurting the paying Mallorn Computing customers who make things like the gallery possible.

Of course, having spring fever and ordering every plant that I come across from mailorder sources isn't helping my time crunch, either.

Counting down the days to spring...

Christopher Lindsey, gallery maintainer
