Last week things just got too busy, so I didn't have a chance to send out any updates. This week I'm almost caught up (well, I'm not as far behind), so here's a little bit of everything.Most of these photos are from slides of woody plants that I hadn't scanned yet, but a few were recent experiments with a new camera lens. Unfortunately, it seems that the U of I Conservatory isn't the best place to perform my tests  most of the pictures didn't come out. Next time I'll test the lens in a more familiar environment.  It was 60 degrees today and things are popping up everywhere, but they say that the temperatures will drop down to the teens by Tuesday. What a strange winter.
