17 March, 2002 gallery additions
I'm still plodding through my old unscanned slides. But next week, barring tragedy, I promise to bring you new and exciting material fresh from South Carolina! I'm heading over to Charleston for a two-day trek to see what's blooming this week and promise to take lots and lots of pictures. Hopefully the azaleas will be peeking out by then.I'm also excited to give my new lens a try. If you look at the photo of Crocus chrysanthus 'E. P. Bowles' below, it's not terribly exciting. But when you realize that I stood about seven feet away to take it, that's a totally different story! Hopefully this new lens will enable me to take pictures of plants off of trails, in water, etc. with a lot more ease.Spring's almost here!Christopher Lindsey, gallery maintainer
