Aroid Chromosome Count Advice Query

This is being posted in hope of finding information on the establishment of
chromosome counts for the aroid genus Cryptocoryne. Can anyone give me a
step-by-step procedure on how this might be done or provide me with a good
reference? Or an internet lead? My interest is in differentiating the
polyploidy
in aquarium strains of these species. I am thinking that the technology
suitable
for other aroids would be appropriate for Cryptocorynes. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you.
