This
is probably a sport that occurred in someone's nursery. it has been in the
industry for several years under the cultivar name
'Brazil'.

Sorry to talk back to myself, but I just found a photo of
this plant on Marek's site noted as a cultivar of Philodedron
hederaceum. Does anyone know if this is a cultivated plant or
another wild form of P. hederaceum? Or something
else?
Steve Lucas
I just received a private response on this plant and was
told it is being called Philodendron Brazil. Somehow I doubt that is a
good name! If anyone knows what it truly is, please speak up! It
appears more to me to be a Scinadpus but I am certainly not qualified
to say.

Can any of you experts out there tell me
the species name of this Scindapus species. A cutting was sent to me several
years ago with no name. The thing I found very amusing this morning is
many people on the internet think this species is the same thing as
Epipremnum aureum. I found that claim on Dave's Garden,
UBC, and Garden Web along with a bunch of pseudo-scientific websites.
I'd like to do a page for my website so if any of you can let me know where to
find a copy of the scientific description I'd appreciate the
help.
Thanks!
Steve Lucas
