Hi Wilbert,
From your description of bulbil formation it sounds like it is A. muellerii. A. bulbifer is a Gabon
native so it can't be that. I didn't notice the bulbil forming in the tissue of the axis. The plant was
collected from Taungoo District, Bago Division in Myanmar(Burma) at an elevation of 174m. in
the under story of a bamboo-teak forest.
