I would like to extend an invitation to all interested in gardening in the
Andean Region of South America. Jairo del Rio of Medellin Colombia and I
have formed a new Yahoo list group called Jardines Andinos. It is created
for all those who garden in the Andes and for all interested in the plants
and gardens of western South America. If you have friends living in this
area please let them know about the new list.

The effort has just begun and list membership is small at this time.  We
anticipate that the main language will be Spanish but posts in other
languages are welcome. This is a moderated list and membership approval is
