Title: RE: [Aroid-l] Anthurium watermaliense
Dear Don: I have placed this in Section Pachyneurium, owing to its involute vernation but it is an unusual member of that group for sure. I have often wondered if it might not be itself of hybrid origen.

To what section of Anthurium does Anthurium watermaliense belong?
At
http://www.aroid.org/genera/Anthurium/pachyneurinum/watermal.html ,
it states that it is in the Section Pachyneurium,
While at
http://www.aroid.org/genera/Anthurium/pachyneurinum/watermaliense.htm
(note slight difference in URL address), it states that it is the
Section Belolonchium
Also, does anyone know if A. watermaliense can hybridize with A.
andraeanum (Section Calomystrium)?
Thanks,
