While this list seems to be a bit slower than others I'm
on, I can also say that it can be time consuming to moderate these list
depending on how it's set. I'm a moderator for a Gesneriad list and before
making some changes we were receiving 100's of spam emails a day. It was allot
of work to weed through them.
We finally made changes and it has not been near as much
work. But, I can also say we do not even attempt to moderate what members post
since we also moderate members and it's a very well behaved group as this
'seems' to be. Could be there is a great deal of work to make it appear that
way.
It's also been the holiday season so that could also have
something to do with it.
