A. x amazonica is a hybrid (polyploid?) and possibly it doesn't produce pollen, but the female flowers are the most probably fertile.

Hi Christmas morning I was greeted with a shower of pollen from A. macrorhiza but none from amazonica. I collected the pollen as the female flowers were no longer sticky and put in a Phil in the fridge with drying crystals and hope it will produce another flower
