[Aroid-l] How long for Arborescent Philodendrons to show woodystems?

How long does it take for the arborescent
Philodendrons to develop noticeable hard stems? 

I have P. bipinnatifidum seedlings but they still do
not show any woody stem.

Is there a way to tell the age of an arborescent Philo
by its stem structure?
