Yes, Philodendron spiritus-sancti still can be found in the wild, but is is pretty rare. For a better acount, take a look at Aroideana, vol. 24, because I wrote with Rogerio Salviani an article concerning a wild population of this incredible species.

Awhile back there was talk of clonally propagating the
rare variety/species of this aroid. I'm wondering
whether anything came of that, and whether that
specific rare version is still alive in the wilds.

Also, are there any other aroids that are as rare
and/or sought after? Phil. spiritus-sancti seems to
garner the most money every year at auctions.
