I cultivated Zant. aethiopica outdoors in Poland (zone 6) through 3 years. However, it put up leaves in June and bloomed only once. Then a cruel winter came in 2002 and it didn't survive.
Here's the photo how it looked at the bottom of the page:

Subject: [Aroid-l] Hardy Zantedeschia
Dear all;
On a bulb email list, we have had an active discussion of hardy callas (Zantedeschia). No one in the US in Zone 5-6 has had success with Z. aethiopica outdoors, although the closely related cv 'Green Goddess' does much better. A German grower does better with the species grown under water all year, but this is less successful in the US. This has raised questions.
Do any of our Aroid specialists have any comments on hardiness of Zantedeschia in Zone 6, Zone 4 of colder?
Thanks Jim W.
