  • Thread-topic: Please i.d. Dieffenbachia

Carol Allen, the supervisory horticulturist at the U.S. Botanic Garden, would like to know the identification of this Dieffenbachia. She originally received it from Excelsia Gardens a year ago. The plant is about 4.5 ft. tall. It recently came into flower with an inflorescence of about 6 inches long. Carol originally sent these photos to Tom Croat but he is in the field and has limited computer access. Until he returns, please help Carol out by sending your  ideas to Carol directly at caallen@aoc.gov or to tom.croat@mobot.org .

Thank you,

Carla V. Kostelac
