Michael-

I have seen quite a few plants from the Marantaceae family for sale on eBay.  There is currently a large plant listed as Calathea tigrina, available from the seller mda1515:

http://cgi.ebay.com/XL-20-Rare-Calathea-tigrina-banana-fam-lrg_W0QQitemZ270362775126QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item270362775126&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

This seller has good feedback, but I don’t know if the identification is correct.

Good luck!

Does anyone know of a good source for unusual and large species of Marantaceae?  Im looking for larger growing and preferably non-variegated species.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
Michael Mattlage
