Xanthosoma striatipes

Dear Aroiders:

	Is there anyone out there in the Aroid World that has living material of 
Xanthosoma striatipes?  It is widespread in eastern South America from 
Venezuela to Paraguay.  My student Jane Whitehill needs only a peice of 
leaf to use in molecular studies in the Colocasioideae and she could send 
a small packet of silica gel in which to dry the material.  I would really 
appreciate it if anyone could help us out in this regard.
