I would say it is a yellowed leaf of the plant just above

Today I ran it through a photo enhancing program to see if I could see more detail and found I cannot find the appearance of a spathe and spadix. In my enlargement, and please remember quality is lost when an enlargement this extreme is made,
there is nothing that looks like a spadix. In fact, both edges of the object
appear to have involute vernation and be rolling inward. This leaves
