Peter,
It doesn't look like Wilbert is subscribed any more. It's hard to tell why at this point.
We'd love to have him back of course!

Steve,
Was Wilbert among those who have slipped into being suspended? I did cc him the Amorphophallus post (and have tagged him here(.
Cheers

Before I go on, I should say that if you're reading this message you have nothing to worry about - you are subscribed to Aroid-L and everything is working for you.
But ironically, shortly after Bernhard made this comment in the Amorphophallus ID thread, I began to receive notifications from the list software about people whose subscriptions have been suspended because messages to them are bouncing. Bernhard is right - we see very few deliberate unsubscribes from Aroid-L. What we do see is people changing email addresses and forgetting about Aroid-L because of the low - until recently - activity. (It takes several bounces within a few days to trigger these actions.)
Usually I don't worry about these, but I'm seeing subscriptions of some of the "old" experts to whom Bernhard referred being suspended. If you're in contact with an aroider that has changed email addresses in the last few years, you might let them know that their Aroid-L subscription may not be working.
